Common Wealth Murals carefully curates professional muralists for Fresh Paint to ensure the murals that are created are of the highest artistic quality. We also raise all of the funds for these murals from local, state and foundation grants.

Fresh Paint muralists are focused on the community they are painting in and want to create a work of art that will be beloved by that community. Fresh Paint muralists are professional fine artists, who produce high quality work and have years of experience painting large-scale murals.

Each year, at least one mural is created using a unique process which engages a community group in guiding the theme of the mural, and engages the whole community in the mural painting process during free and accessible paint parties.
